01 — Introduce
You describe the shipment. We reflect it to the market.
Fill in the specifics of cargo, origin and destination, then sign up and open your own account. We reflect your cargo offer to screened carriers only. They are free to accept on the pre-defined terms or to decline. Once offer and acceptance are complete, a contract of transportation exists between you and carrier/forwarder. You may recieve multiple offers and you are free to opt for one among others, subject to their general terms and conditions. We stay in the middle throughout — to observe, monitor and step in whenever it helps the shipment move properly.
02 — Screen
We check both sides before anything moves.
Carriers get a background check and a document check. Cargo owners and forwarders are reviewed too. Then we return one clear price and value proposition.
03 — Coordinate · Pickup
Terms agreed. One team coordinates every step.
We pass your pickup instructions to the carrier or forwarder and stay in touch with both sides, door to door. All kinds of cargo; customs help on request.

Across borders, we stay in the middle.
Asia and Europe to the Persian Gulf and the South Caucasus, or the other way — by road, sea, rail or combined transport. We monitor every handover between the two sides and their sub-contractors.

At the destination, the cargo goes on by truck or rail.
The cargo — break-bulk, bulk or container — moves from ship or rail to truck for the last leg. The carrier keeps moving with confidence, because the payment side is monitored by us.
04 — Settle
Balance paid. Documents released. Carrier paid.
The cargo waits at the gate until the balance is paid. Then the documents are handed over immediately and the carrier is settled on the terms agreed at the start.

Before you start.
Is it free to join?
Yes. Opening an account is free for cargo owners, forwarders and carriers.
Do I need an account to ask for a price?
You can fill in the whole inquiry first. You create your account at the moment you send it, so we know who is asking. Our team then reviews the account before you get access to your panel.
How long does account review take?
Usually 1 to 3 working days. We check company documents for every account. Carriers also go through a background check.
Who am I dealing with?
Quoting, contracting and payment run through AltCargo — you deal through us, not a chain of intermediaries. Once you accept a price, we introduce you to the carrier so pickup and delivery can happen, and we stay on as the operations desk overseeing that handover through to final delivery.
Will the other side see my details?
Not before you accept a price — counterparties, pricing and shipment details stay confidential while we're matching you. Once a contract is in place, we introduce the two sides so the shipment can move, and we keep everything running through the platform so we can keep watching it. Cover and accountability apply to what happens on the platform, so we recommend keeping the whole shipment there.
What kind of cargo do you handle?
All kinds of cargo, by road, sea, rail, by air, and combined where needed. If you need help with customs clearance, sourcing, interim storage or insurance cover, we can arrange that on request.
When is my cargo released?
The cargo is not released until the freight and any ancillary charges are paid. As soon as they are, the documents are handed over immediately.
Is my cargo insured?
